BA (Hons) Cordwainers Footwear: Product Design & Development
A short placement with Christian Louboutin before studying at Cordwainers, together with working for Michael Lewis over the past two years has given Virginia a keen insight into the development of collections for the luxury womenâs footwear market. She has now built on her experience working on numerous projects including Tom Fordâs debut womenswear footwear collection, Versace and Jaeger, to create her own distinctive yet accessible luxury range. This references her research into Victorian diving equipment and embodies her characteristic understated design aesthetic which focuses on; attention to detail, the use of high quality sustainable materials and an understanding of future consumer trends. Graduated in 2011 having completed a BA (Hons) in Product Design and Development: Footwear, with a First Class Honours Degree. Currently working as a footwear and accessories designer for Zara in Spain.
