MA Visual Arts: Designer-Maker
The pieces I make are âpersonal cupsâ, or commemorative pieces, little monuments dedicated to individuals, events and experiences of personal life or global world. I use narratives derived from my own conversations with people drink tea with. My work is based on nostalgia, loss, anger, trauma, despair and overcoming of them. The ceramics memorabilia I create is not sad though, but full of wit and humorous commentary.
