MA Costume Design For Performance
I am a costume designer and maker with a background in fashion. I am really interested in working in film and theatre. After studying fashion design I began working in magazines as a fashion assistant. I moved back to London in 2010 after 7 years living and working in New York as a freelance fashion and wardrobe stylist. Since graduating I have worked on some interesting projects, including a music video and designing costumes for Florence + The Machine's dancers at the Brit Awards in February. Since early May I have been pattern cutting, as part of the costume team for the Royal Opera House Education Department's production of Hot House to be staged in July 2012 MA Final Show "Orlando" by Virginia Woolf A fantasy biography of Virginia's friend and lover Vita Sackville-West. Orlando starts in the Elizabethan times and lives for nearly 400 years changing sex midway.
