The womenswear collection with print designs is called âLight Up The Future.â It is designed for Spring/ Summer 2013. The inspiration mainly comes from the lightings and the positive attitude for the future, which is based on the concept of âthe other worldâ for the humansâ souls to live in after we walk to the end of our life. Through the entire process of designing, we understand that looking forward to the future with hope is a necessity for the short humansâ life. Such idea can be expressed not only in our life but also in fashion design. As Anna Wintour once said, âFashion is not about looking back, but it is all about looking forward,â the positive attitude for the future can guide the way. (Wintour A., 2009) Therefore, the collection aims to emphasize the differences between light and darkness. Futuristic and high tech designs are the references for the research.
