BA (Hons) Fashion Design Technology (Womenswear)
I have been educated in UK since I was 16 year old. During the A-Level study, back in 2003 in Cambridge, I decided to study deeper about fashion and jumped to foundation course at the same college, Cambridge & Art and science. After a couple of years of serving my country in the army I went back to UK, in 2009, to carry out my unfinished education. Now i am 3 months away from graduation date and very much looking forward to being involved in the fashion industry. I have been always interested in looking deeper in gender issues. I think nowadays fashion does not have any more boundaries in regards to gender roles and social obligations. And my aesthetic preference is to mix old fashioned gender roles with social movements at presents. For the Androgyny collection(2012) I was looking into how the mixing-gender design of YSL in 60's influenced niche fashion market and tried to extract designs from classic double breasted jacket look by twisting it with a bit of humor.
