BA (Hons) Fine Art: Painting
Currently my work explores notions of alienated environments, usually devoid of physical human presence. Even though the spaces are seemingly uninhabited, they offer a sense of warmth and familiarity in an otherwise isolated world. The spaces I create are not from memory or experience but stem from the feeling of presence that a specific space can determine. For me the engagement exists when a piece of work is reminiscent of something familiar, whether it be a memory or state of mind. oliviamoullaali@live.co.uk
