BA (Hons) Illustration
I have a passion for traditional methods and materials (i.e. print making and drawing with inks) and my work is very often based upon historical information, references and places. The three poster images focus on the Memorial to Heroic Self Sacrifice found in Postman's Park in London; and my purpose was to bring about an awareness of its location, history and importance. Each poster is a reference to a story found on the memorial; the texture in the silhouettes are from graphite rubbings of gravestones. ~ www.bethanybluebell.tumblr.com ~
